That's true. Though my father was well respected before. He had ideas others didn't like but he was still respected by them. I suppose I would have found myself in a similar situation, if I had lived and if my father's house hadn't been dismantled.

I plan on it, for as long as I can. I never really was too attached to one place- home was more the people I was around than a place. You don't put down roots, as a soldier.
