[Okay, that earns a huff of a laugh, and his face goes a bit red.]
That might be alright. Have you been down to the beach? I always liked the shore. I'm from a coast city- Asariel- but we didn't have nice beaches and never much had the time to go to them. My family had no time or money for trips like that.
Let me know if you need any help. I had to figure out the blighted clothes when I got here, but they're nice once you get used to them.
I'm from Minrathous so I'm used to smelling the sea in the air but not being able to find it. I went to the beach when I first arrived but I'd like to do more than just stand in awe of it, if you'd like. Maybe we take a meal down there?
The clothes are one of things that have been confusing me, that's certain, but I think I've figured them out. They're comfortable enough and much easier than all the layers I'm used to.
I've also been getting used to how new everything looks and feels.
I noticed that in Redcliffe too, because it had to be rebuilt after The Fifth Blight. It still looked lived in, though. Here, things seem so clean and glossy.
[Look at him bury the offer for a date under a bunch of stuff so Krem can focus on that if he'd rather say no to a beach side picnic.]
Good, best to toss those evil cultist robes in a fucking bonfire, if you ask me. They've still got plenty of skirts, though, if those strike your fancy. I can also make things for you, if you'd like.
It's a change. I'm used to slums and older cities, for certain.
Dinner sounds nice, then a walk? What kind of places do you like? There's a bar down there, but I'm sure we can find something classier if you want.
[Just gonna reply to that bit last so it doesn't come across like it jumped out at him and he really wanted to say yes, please. Nailed it.]
You'd make something for me? What would you like to make? Would it be something more like what we have back home?
As far as the place, I'd like to go to where you think the food and drink are best. Maybe a place with real cheese? Otherwise, though, I'm not too terribly concerned about the class.
It's more about having a good time in other's company than worrying about having to wear fancy clothes.
You have to tell me what you like to wear. I can't make anything too fancy. Unless you'd rather a stuffed animal, I like making those.
[Please see attached: nug.jpg]
I'll figure something out. They have a lot of seafood here, too, and it's not too bad. We'll have to find someplace casual, I don't know how to do fancy. I might break into hives if I put on a suit. I don't want to risk it.
['Fussy, but means well.' Felix likes how Krem can summarize Dorain
so succinctly. He's just too distracted by focusing on the date to
compliment him on that.]
[Felix stops himself from suggesting they meet tonight. That's a
little too soon, he thinks, maybe at least give them 24 hours to figure out
where they want to eat. And give himself time to find someone to
wear.]
Tomorrow would be good for me. Unless that's too
soon?

[He lays in bed grinning to himself and drops his face into the comforter, making a small "ugh".]

I'm not busy most nights, so anytime you want to is fine with me.

I'll see you then.

Maker, it's making a weird noise. Are they sure this is safe?
