[Felix goes with sending a message over text for two reasons. One- He wants to test the technology and see how it actually works. And two- because he assumes that it will be easier for Krem to ignore if he regrets anything that happened between them]
So do you have any Qunari cake or did you get back home in time?
[Okay, that earns a huff of a laugh, and his face goes a bit red.]
That might be alright. Have you been down to the beach? I always liked the shore. I'm from a coast city- Asariel- but we didn't have nice beaches and never much had the time to go to them. My family had no time or money for trips like that.
Let me know if you need any help. I had to figure out the blighted clothes when I got here, but they're nice once you get used to them.
I'm from Minrathous so I'm used to smelling the sea in the air but not being able to find it. I went to the beach when I first arrived but I'd like to do more than just stand in awe of it, if you'd like. Maybe we take a meal down there?
The clothes are one of things that have been confusing me, that's certain, but I think I've figured them out. They're comfortable enough and much easier than all the layers I'm used to.
I've also been getting used to how new everything looks and feels.
I noticed that in Redcliffe too, because it had to be rebuilt after The Fifth Blight. It still looked lived in, though. Here, things seem so clean and glossy.
[Look at him bury the offer for a date under a bunch of stuff so Krem can focus on that if he'd rather say no to a beach side picnic.]
[She shows up at his door, knocking politely. She feels more nervous than she ought to, probably. An odd feeling--She is usually full of bluster and confidence, but that really cute smile and the way his eyes got when they started talking about more...risque things. Maker damn it all, she wanted to impress him. So she wore a dress meant to catch eyes--A skirt with a top that was nothing but lace, only a matching bandeau underneath saving her from being exposed. She'd never worn anything so showy in Thedas, but--Why not, while she could?
And in her hands was a little gift box. That's how she's used to doing things like this. Little gifts here and there, picked up on her travels, given to her companions. Trinkets that showed that she thought of them, and what they might enjoy.
For Krem, she used her carving skills that she'd been practicing, to whittle a little wooden ram skull, strung onto a leather thong. Chargers. That would go with a ram skull, right? Maker, she hoped so. She straightened up, trying not to fret, as she waited at the door.]
[Krem answers, and he blinks, and then smiles when he sees who it is. Tabris was a woman, that was for certain, in the way that one might say such a thing with a sense of wonder.
He turned a bit red, looking at her outfit, and rubbed at the short hairs at the back of his head.]
[She can't help but feel a smile tugging at her lips as she stepped in. Well, at least he seemed to like her outfit. That was generally a good sign. She gave a little curious glance around the place as she slips off her shoes--She couldn't help but wonder what kind of place two mercenary men who would quite so...interesting would live.]
Hey, Krem. Um--I got you a thing.
[She looks down, and kind of. Awkwardly holds out the box to him, giving him a smile.]
I hope you like it--Ah. It made me thing of the Chargers. If you don't, I can get something else...
[Skulls. Charging. Iron Bull. It all kind of worked together, right? Ugh. Maybe she should've tried to make it look like a bull's skull...]
[He takes the box, and smiles, opening it and looking down at the carved skull.]
It's great.
[He breathes it, slipping the necklace on and then hesitating before closing the distance between them and gently kissing her cheek. He took one of her hands, pressing a kiss to her knuckles.]
[A pleased grin light up her face when he immediately put it on. Good, she's glad that he likes it--Or at least, that he likes her enough to pretend to like it. She'll take either, honestly. The grin was paired with a faint blush, when his lips met her cheek, intensifying when they brushed against her hand. Maker, but he was charming. She cleared her throat, willing herself to act cool and suave, because that is exactly what she is.
At least, that's what she's trying really hard to be around him.]
No problem, I'm glad you like it.
[She pauses, then gives him a kiss on the cheek in return. At least with him, getting on her tip toes is sufficient to meet his cheek. After a moment, she decides that another kiss might be in order, and presses her lips to his jaw.]
Mmm. You're a handsome man. How did I manage to squirrel you away for myself for an entire evening? My luck never ceases to amaze me.
Yes, Commander. I couldn't go two feet in Val Royeaux without someone sneering "vint" at me.
Don't expect too much culture from me, though. I was Soporati, born and raised in the slums, and I spent most of my time outside of that in military barracks. I couldn't tell you which forks go with which dinner course, if that's what you're looking for.
